“In the attitude of silence the soul finds the path in a clearer light, and what is elusive and deceptive resolves itself into crystal clearness.”
Mahatma Gandhi
Sometimes the universe is bold.
A school chum of mine was in a deadly auto accident many years ago, the other driver died on the spot, my friend had multiple fractures including a crushed leg. He underwent months and months of physical therapy and thus became a physical therapist.
The universe shouted.
But sometimes the universe is like a soft breeze, passing over us ever so quietly that we may not pay attention.
For the last couple of years I have been praying for a new, wonderful house without stairs due to some health problems. I have had no clue how we could manifest this.
Several months ago my dear husband mentioned to me that I ought to look into distributing a product that we use, drops we put into our milk to help with our lactose intolerance. They work very well and my daughter and I use them all the time. But, we could only order it from Canada or Australia.
I had put his suggestion in the back of my mind….yes….I should…someday….how could I?…I’ve never done anything like that…how dare I…I mustn’t…
You know how your mind sorts, comments, and files.
And then it came time for me to re-order. I emailed the company in Canada about ordering and could I have any information on becoming a distributor? As I typed that question I didn’t think much of it. I thought I might get a standardized automatic reply on Monday. This was Friday late afternoon.
It is now Sunday afternoon, I have just finished reading my eighth email from the company vice-president, and we have a deal. We will be distributing in certain types of stores (i.e. we can’t approach the giants like Target and Walmart) and online. We will make about $24 per case of these supplements.
I am very excited, although a bit scared. (I should…someday….how could I?…I’ve never done anything like that….how dare I…I mustn’t)
What was incredible to me–and is now–that it was so simple. And fast. (Joe Vitale–JoeVitale.com– always talks about the universe liking speed.) I just asked a question. Because the universe (or God, or whatever/whoever you believe in) whispered so softly that I should ask it.
Now I have hope that we can finally get out of debt and buy (with cash) that house I’ve been dreaming of for so long. Simply because I listened and took action.
