3. Bake or cook your gifts to your kids teachers, your co-workers, neighbors, etc. Some favorites: chocolate dipped strawberries, cupcakes with a candy on top (e.g. a Kiss, or mini chocolate bars,) mini cheesecakes.
4. Shop thrift stores especially for stocking stuffers. I recently found lava lamps, new books, pretty scarves, computer and console games, CD’s and DVD’s still in shrink wrap, crystal knick nacks, small toys, baby items.
5. We all know about the fantastic after Christmas sales. If your loved one is wanting a coat or boots for example, give them a picture of the item with a promise to buy it December 26th (or 27th!) and, of course, make good on your promise.
