More Money: I Think I Can’t, I Think I Can’t…

I’ve been watching Joe Vitale’s series on the Awakened Millionaire and this last one really hit home for me.

It’s not new information for me but I hadn’t thought about it for a long time.

It was all about the subconscious and how it affects everything we do.

You see the subconscious mind is busy. It is estimated that it sends your conscious mind about 50,000 messages a day. Wow! That’s about 34 messages per minute.

The subconscious mind needs a hobby.

Unfortunately the subconscious mind is a bit of a worry wort and it tends to hold onto memories and messages for a very long time. AND, it can, with great efficiency, torpedo all of your hard work toward your life goals and dreams. (I told you it needed a hobby.)

This is how it works for me. I’m working on developing a product (that I’m really excited about) that I will (I almost wrote “want” but decided “will” was a more pro-active phrasing) sell on QVC, the famous shopping network.

When we’ve gotten in over our heads, and the resulting aftermath looms as large as Kilimanjaro, the future, our path, becomes overwhelming. With ten cents in our pocket how do we affect change in our lives?

I would suggest that we make very small, attainable goals.
